Catfish are one of the most diverse species of fish on the planet! They range in size at maturity from 1/2 inch to giants of 8 feet. They thrive all over the world, in both fresh and salt water. Most catfish live near the bottom of rivers and lakes, but some live in the open ocean. They are boney fish that tend to sink rather than float. Named for the thin, whisker-like tactile organ (barbel) near their mouths, the catfish's "whiskers" contain its tastebuds.
Catfish are a source of food for cultures all over the world, though people differ as to their taste and appeal. Because adult catfish do not have scales, they are not considered Kosher in Jewish culture. In the United States, the channel and blue catfish are a favorite food.
Catching catfish is different from catching many other species of fish. Effective methods differ depending on the type of waters fished, and different baits are used to catch different targets. Here are some simple, but proven, methods used to catch the humble catfish.

Fishing For River Walleye's
Go ahead and do some research obtaining the list of state and providence record walleyes and you see that most of them were caught in rivers. River fishing walleye is by far the best place to fish if you are looking for trophy size walleye. You have probably already figured out that the main reason rivers hold stable populations and record size walleyes is because rivers do not get the same fishing pressure that lakes get.
Many Walleye fisherman spend their time river walleye fishing when cold fronts have slowed the fishing in close by lakes.River walleyes seem to ignore, or are not effected by a incoming cold front. Also, head to the rivers in late summer when walleye fishing begins to slow down because of rising temperatures and plenty of natural food to eat.River walleyes will continue to feed in the same places in the fall unlike on a lake where the walleye will be scattered because of the water starting the fall turn over.

Below is a list of some of the best bass fishing lures in North America.
Spinnerbait
Spinnerbait is one of the most popular bass fishing lures used today. They come in many different colors such as red, yellow, white, brown, black and so forth with gold or silver blades. Many anglers prefer the metallic spinnerbaits but all designs are bright and shiny to attract the attention of the bass. Some spinnerbaits have rubber skirts that are designed specifically for getting the attention of the bass. You can change these skirts making this type of spinnerbait more versatile.
When it comes to the shape of spinnerbait you should use, you need to consider the types of fish found in the water where you are located. Spinnerbait is designed to imitate the bait fish found in different waters to outsmart the bass so they will take the bait. These tend to trick the bass into taking the bait by impulse.
Crankbait
Another very popular bass fishing lure is the crankbait lure. It was given this name because the lure is connected to the end if the line and then you crank it back to the area where you are fishing. Some crankbaits sink directly to the bottom of the water while others float on the top. There are even crankbaits that stay suspended at the depth where you stopped reeling it in. Crankbaits are designed for shallow, medium and deep waters.

Exact time lines are merely really a thing of speculation as far as being completely correct. We do know they did exist in ancient times, with ancient peoples and origins of society. The Bow, As we know it, Is basically a stick and a string. We therefore aren't completely sure of exactly where or when it was originated.

This occurrence of invention probably happened in many places, and several parts of the world around the same time. This invention called the Bow and Arrow, Most likely occurred over a period of hundreds of years. Based upon what scientists have told us, The Bow was first invented as a device helping early humans hunt and kill game, Reason being because it made the gathering of food easier. We do know that it became the weapon of choice against other humans in time of war. All this is simply a conjecture.
